A Note on Shipping During this Crazy Year!!!!

Greetings ! 

If you have already placed an order, please rest assured we are taking measures to make sure the premium quality of your gift box of Tillamook cheese arrives in food safe condition! We have decided to aim for quality instead of speed and will continue to do so. Please know it's always a good day to get a gift of Tillamook cheese for the holidays! 

  • Please contact via email or through your Oregon Maiden account messaging system as we view these before and after normal business hours. Our apologies, the lady who normally answers customer service calls has been kidnapped and forced to work with the rest of the elves packing up orders as we are in "all hands on deck" mode til all packages are shipped for the holidays.
  • ALL orders are packed the day they ship directly into a cold pack shipping container. 
  • The "Pre-Shipment" status seen when tracking your order on USPS.com means only the shipping label has been printed.
  • Orders shipping to areas experiencing prolonged shipping delays will not be packed and shipped until we see reasonable movement:

Our main shipper, USPS is experiencing an unprecedented high volume of parcels with an unprecedented low number of employees. Oregon Maiden Gift Baskets is carefully monitoring the flow of parcels and may hold or delay shipment of gift orders to various shipping hubs in various parts of the nation to avoid your perishable cheese gift from sitting too long anywhere along the way. The date you ordered (choosing SHIP NOW or SHIP FOR CHRISTMAS) is NOT the day your gift box order was packed. All orders are packed fresh the day they ship. We see the same USPS.com tracking info you do and cannot affect their performance after the gift order leaves our shop.

We are also experiencing the same pandemic related supply chain issues as any business operation. We use our judgement to substitute like items, brands, flavors per our substitution clause as posted on our website. We are not able to respond to all calls as we are in “all hands on deck” mode working extremely hard to get everyone’s order out for the holidays. 

We will be closed from December 29th, 2020 thru January 7th, 2021. Please log into your customer account to send us a message regarding your order. These are checked daily normal business hours. If you have no customer account, please use the online contact form on the OregonMaiden.com “CONTACT” page. Otherwise, simply email info@oregonmaiden.com and use all caps in the subject line so your email stands out from the influx of new order notifications. Once your order has been packed or shipped we cannot issue a refund. We will not be issuing refund requests based on missed target dates during a nationwide pandemic. Most regions of the country are cold enough to keep cheddar cheese and smoked summer sausage gift box perishables far surpassing per FDA  food safety regulation.
